EMPOWERMENT IN ACTION: AWISE Extends Financial Support to Women Entrepreneurs at the Danja Branch
[LOCATION, KATSINA STATE] — As part of its relentless mandate to foster self-reliance and build resilient grassroots economies, the Alheri Women Initiative for Sustainable Empowerment (AWISE) has successfully concluded another milestone financial disbursement exercise at its Danja branch.
The disbursement team successfully reached beneficiaries across several distinct villages and settlements within the Danja LGA, including:
Fulani Village
Unguwar Lalle
Mahawayawa Village
Gidan Galadima e.t.c
The intervention targeted smallholder women farmers and local petty traders, arming them with the necessary financial leverage to scale up their enterprises, increase crop production, and enhance household income stability.

Speaking on the impact of the initiative, the branch management stated:
“When we equip a woman with capital, we aren’t just funding a micro-enterprise—we are transforming a household. This disbursement is a practical manifestation of our vision to bridge economic gaps for women in rural and underserved communities.”
AWISE ensures that its disbursement exercises prioritize transparency, direct delivery, and accountability, ensuring that funding directly benefits deserving women at the grassroots level. The organization extends its sincere appreciation to the branch supervisors, local community leaders, and management teams who worked collaboratively to ensure a safe, orderly, and transparent exercise.
